Giant George the World’s Biggest Dog
Mon, November 14, 2011,When Dave Nasser form Arizona adopted a grey-blue Great Dane puppy, he had no idea his George would grow up to be so big. At 245lbs, standing 43” tall at high shoulder (7’ 3” from nose to tail) he is the Guinness World Record holder for the World’s Biggest Dog. Although he sleeps on his own queen-sized bed, and eats 110lbs of food a month, he is still a family dog at heart.
He has made many TV appearances (even been on the Oprah Show) and is a veritable dog-celebrity. The North American version of the popular book “Giant George: Life with the World’s Biggest Dog” by Nasser is due to hit shelves in early 2012 and details many funny stories of George’s life with the family and rise to fame.
