Dog Survives After 53 Days in the Nevada Desert

In December 2011, a terrible car accident on the I-80 in Nevada not only claimed the life of Barbara Bagley's husband and one of her Shetland sheepdogs. The family's other Sheltie, Dooley, bolted from the scene and vanished. In critical condition herself, Bagley never lost hope that Dooley might still be out there and put out a call to local residents and volunteers in the area to help her find the 4-year-old dog.
